SHWP Celebrating Our Volunteers - A Special AGM

Posted on: 20 April 2026

Last week we were delighted to welcome trustees, partners and supporters from across Shipston and the Stour Valley for the Stour Health and Wellbeing Partnership AGM, held at St. Edmunds Church. A highlight of the afternoon was celebrating our long‑service volunteers, whose dedication, kindness and commitment continue to make a genuine difference to health and wellbeing across our rural communities. We are incredibly grateful for all that you do - thank you.

We were also honoured to welcome Susan Rasmussen, the Incoming High Sheriff of Warwickshire, who joined us to present the Long Service Volunteer Awards and spoke so thoughtfully about the value of community‑led, preventative work. We are grateful that she took the time to attend our AGM and to recognise the impact of local volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and who continue to play a part in helping residents across Shipston and the Stour Valley to live happier, healthier lives.
