Health Champions

Successful recruitment in 2021 of two Health Champions, Sarah Chapman and Jenny Payne, who have been trained and obtained a level 2 qualification in public health. They are now actively involved in the Shipston community and within the Partnership offering support to initiatives in the Stour area. Sarah is currently supporting the Dr Sue Pritchard Memorial Challenge and in particular the Board Games Social Afternoon, 14:30 each Friday at The Coach and Horses.

The Health Champion role is aimed at local people who care about health and wellbeing of their communities and those around them. They work by raising awareness and sign posting people to local health services and provide support to those who need a little extra help.
