Weekly Community Hubs in Shipston on Stour

Weekly Community Hubs, held on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00-12:00 noon at the Ellen Badger Hospital, Stratford Road, Shipston on Stour provide a welcoming space for a range of activities, including cooking sessions and seated exercise. Residents can also access services such as banking support, Citizens Advice and a frailty nurse.

SHWP has benefited from the recent donation of café tables from NFU Mutual. The seating has been particularly welcome during the warmer weather, inviting visitors to take the time to enjoy views across the wildflower meadows and riverside setting.

May concluded with a Spring Lunch for 50 local people, cooked by the skilled chefs from Thomas Franks Foundation and Sibford School. Raffle prizes were kindly donated by The Richard Harvey Collection which rounded out the event alongside the distribution of table posies to attendees.

Stour Health and Wellbeing Partnership continues to work collaboratively with local organisations to provide accessible, community-based support and plans to build on this programme in the coming months.
